DVMAccounting is a local CPA firm located in Brampton. We are rapidly growing with a robust client base. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant with a minimum of one year recent public practice experience to join our practice.

Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare Personal, and Corporate income tax returns
Perform Bookkeeping and other administrative responsibilities
Understand accounting concepts and apply them to client situations
Prepare T4 and T5 returns
Prepare Notice to Reader with relatively little guidance within the budgeted time frame
Prepare and file WSIB and HST returns
Dealing with government agencies such as CRA and WSIB to resolve client issues

Qualifications
University degree or college diploma, pursuing his/her CPA designation
At least 1 year of public accounting experience in Canada is a MUST
Ability to prepare T1 and T2 tax returns,



performing Notice to Reader engagements and filing HST returns, WSIB returns, preparing payroll, T4s and T5s.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Cantax or Profile would be an asset
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Confident and takes initiative to work effectively and efficiently.
Robust interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with the clients, team members and outside parties
