Title: Site Superintendent

Job Type: Full time, Permanent A growing construction company specializing in municipal infrastructure projects across Southern Ontario is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee an active project in Gananoque.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical trades, maintain project schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. This role will also serve as a key point of contact for owners, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee construction activities from project start through completion
Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and site personnel
Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction documentation
Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and project progress
Maintain daily reports, site logs,



planning tools, and commissioning documentation
Support project managers with planning and execution

Requirements:
3–5+ years of municipal infrastructure construction experience
Strong heavy civil, concrete, and water/wastewater construction experience
Experience with a general or civil contractor preferred
Solid blueprint and specification interpretation skills
Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
First Aid, WHMIS, and Working at Heights certifications are preferred

Licence/Certification:
First Aid Certification (preferred)
WHMIS Certification (preferred)
Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
