Join Alberta Kidney Care – North as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Westlock. Utilize critical thinking and clinical skills to deliver patient-centered care in a hemodialysis workplace. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your role is vital within a multidisciplinary team at the Westlock Hemodialysis Unit.
You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients experiencing acute and chronic renal failure. This position offers a chance to work at your full nursing scope while adhering to current policies and demonstrate your nursing skills effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for patient care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team
Provide hemodialysis treatments to patients
Follow established nursing protocols and procedures
Ensure patient and family-centered care delivery Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited LPN program
Registration with CLHA and current BCLS-HCP certification
Skills in critical thinking and decision-making
Completion of IV Therapy and Medication Administration course
