As a Health Care Aide, you'll work alongside a dedicated care team under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. Your skills will be vital in delivering secure basic care, including bathing, transferring, and feeding residents. This position ensures that each resident receives tailored care according to their individual needs while fostering a supportive setting. Key Responsibilities:
Bathe and shower residents according to care plans
Assist with secure transfers using mechanical lifts
Feed residents according to dietary guidelines
Provide routine treatments as directed by nursing staff
Accompany residents to meals and activities Requirements:
One year of experience in continuing care preferred
Recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate required
Active registration with CLHA required
Fluent in English, both written and oral
