Echelon Wellness is a patient-focused organization striving to enhance the health and well-being of the military and RCMP community through quality patient care. Echelon Wellness is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the region to provide assessment and care.

Responsibilities
Current certificate of registration with the applicable governing body as a nurse practitioner in valuable standing.
Master of Science (Nursing) or a Masters in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Ability to conduct clients’ interviews and examinations, develop and implement client centered treatment plans, while integrating evidence-based health promotion practices
Demonstrated ability to work as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to function within a team-oriented practice model.




Effective leadership capabilities, including but not exclusive to teaching, mentoring, and supporting shared care models.
Additional professional liability coverage is required; additional relevant professional memberships are an asset.
Experience/confidence in working independently, with high degree of self-direction and strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) including conflict resolution skills.
Ability to use information technology (e.g. Microsoft Office and electronic medical records).
Basic Life Support certification is required.
