We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Live-in Superintendent to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our buildings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our property. This role offers an prospect to live on-site while managing a team and maintaining the building’s infrastructure.
Duties
Work along other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and upkeep
Oversee subcontractors including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing technicians
Follow preventative maintenance schedules
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
Provide excellent customer service to co-owners
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities,
fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive work environment
Requirements
Proven experience in similar role
Intermediate level knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities
Must be comfortable living on-site as part of the role’s responsibilities
This position is integral to maintaining the operational integrity of our buildings while providing leadership that fosters safety, efficiency, and a collaborative work workplace. Pay: $50,000.00 per year
