Make a difference as a part time Registered Practical Nurse in the Acute Crisis Evaluation & Response Team. Provide essential care to patients experiencing mental health crises. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Mental Health Programs and engage with patients in acute crisis situations.

Your duties will include conducting clinical assessments, administering medications, and assisting in crisis interventions. Collaboration with psychiatry and emergency teams ensures a smooth transition for patients requiring deeper care. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out clinical and risk assessments for crisis patients
Administer medications competently within the role
Support patient education and discharge processes
Conduct psychosocial assessments promptly
Participate in emergency management, including Code Whites Requirements:
Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Completion of a Practical Nursing program required
Experience with crisis management and mental health basics
Valid BCLS certification and crisis intervention training
Knowledge of mental health legislation and treatment methods Contribute your expertise in mental health care while working collaboratively on a agile crisis team.
