We are seeking an energetic and friendly Front Counter Attendant to join our agile team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Duties
Greet customers warmly as they approach the counter, creating a positive first impression
Take accurate food orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, maintaining high quality and presentation
Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and give correct change while managing cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Assist in food handling duties,
including basic food preparation and ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on serving customers effectively
Familiarity with POS systems,
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Ability to work well under pressure in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
