Duties
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from chefs or supervisors
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Help with food handling and storage to meet food safety standards and prevent contamination
Operate basic kitchen equipment




Contribute to resident services by ensuring timely meal delivery and responding professionally and courteously
Support overall kitchen operations including stock replenishment, cleaning schedules, and adhering to health regulations

Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and interact positively with residents
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking processes
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
