Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Cook/Housekeeper to join our vibrant team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and maintaining a clean, organized setting within our kitchen. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a positive experience for both children and staff.

Responsibilities
Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards
Serve food to children and staff in a friendly, efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and common areas throughout the day
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
Assist with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning stove, dishes, sink and other kitchen areas.




Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report needs for restocking
Support meal planning and ensure all food preparation aligns with health regulations

Qualifications MUST HAVE A VALID HANDLER CERTIFICATE.

MUST HAVE VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK

MUST HAVE VALID CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFICATE
Experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal presentation skills
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to serve children and staff with professionalism and warmth
Kitchen experience including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining sanitation standards
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Enthusiastic team player committed to creating a safe and welcoming workplace

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
