Interpret and enforce environmental health regulations
Conduct inspections of food establishments and public pools
Enforce smoke-free workplace legislation
Perform water sampling and manage Boil Water Advisories
Investigate food and waterborne illnesses Requirements:
Bachelor's degree accredited by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors
Certificate in Public Health Inspection, Canada (CPHI(C)) near completion
Valid class 5 driver's license
Satisfactory criminal record check
Willingness for overnight and day travel Bring your skills in public health inspections and community education to protect the health and safety of the public.
