Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Associate to join our Sage Hill Petro Canada team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions and assisting customers with their purchases. Your enthusiasm and product knowledge will help create a welcoming shopping environment, driving sales.

Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash, credit, and digital transactions
Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrate features through engaging product demos, and suggest additional items to increase sales
Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customer attention and promote featured products
Ensure the store remains clean, organized,



and well-stocked to enhance the shopping environment
Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock levels, customer needs, and sales opportunities
Uphold company policies on phone etiquette, customer privacy, and safety procedures

Requirements
Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred
Solid communication skills in English
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced workplace
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience with point-of-sales systems and merchandising preferred
Customer service-oriented mindset with friendly etiquette and professional demeanor
Flexibility to work varied shifts including overnight, weekends, or holidays as needed
