As a continuing education contract instructor, you will facilitate a hands-on lab experience for dental assisting students, ensuring they develop essential skills in a supportive setting.
You are expected to prepare and supervise lab sessions, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback. With a focus on building a diverse learning community, this role emphasizes supporting Indigenous students and creating an inclusive education atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare lab schedules and training supplies
Teach and demonstrate dental assisting techniques
Monitor and assess student performance
Communicate course expectations clearly
Finalize grades and complete administrative tasks Requirements:
Graduate of accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program
Current Dental Assisting license in Saskatchewan
Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Experience in adult education or teaching
