Diamond Motors is looking for a flat rate Journeyman Technician to join our service department!
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair used vehicles
Knowledge of system components that will allow you to effectively diagnose issues
Understanding of preventative maintenance that would add value for the customer when recommended
Thoroughly inspect vehicles for any work that should be recommended to the customer
Knowledge of use of an array of tools
Understand and review work orders with the Service Manager
Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools
Qualifications:
Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate- Asset
Completion of requisite post-secondary and training courses
Solid work ethic and problem-solving skills
Work with a high level of reliability and integrity
Ability to meet physical demands of the job
A valid driver’s license
