Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient care, and ensuring the secure and effective use of medications. This is a critical role in our healthcare facility, and we are looking for someone with strong clinical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Review medication orders for appropriateness and potential drug interactions
Provide medication counseling to patients and answer any questions or concerns
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
Monitor patient response to medication therapy and adjust treatment as necessary
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice
Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy




Current pharmacist license in Ontario
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Attention to detail and robust organizational skills
