Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records
Prepare and package medications for distribution, including compounding for creams, suspensions and capsules
Label and organize medication inventory
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Pharmacy Assistant)
-Pharmacy assistant training (preferred)
Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent work experience
Certification as a pharmacy technician (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record-keeping
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace
Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
Familiarity with compounding, pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
Skills:
Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
Experience working in a pharmacy or clinical setting is highly desirable
