Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish
Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain product standards and minimize waste
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal
Support food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines related to food preparation and service
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar food service role within a restaurant or food industry setting
Solid knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation protocols
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation skills
Effective communication skills for working seamlessly with team members and front-of-house staff
Experience with serving guests in a fast-paced environment is a plus
