La Foret is looking for Kitchen Staff to join our team!

Title: FOH Staff
Work Location: 1135 Austin Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3P4
Wage: $18.25/hour ~ (dependent upon experience)
Terms of Employment: Full-time or Part-Time, Permanent
Positions Available: 2

Key Responsibilities
Prepare menu items according to Laforêt’s recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Complete daily prep work, including ingredients, sauces, and station setup.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace following food safety and hygiene standards.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently as required for each station.
Support inventory management by properly storing ingredients, labeling items, and minimizing waste.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Follow all operational standards and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive kitchen workplace.

Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, or equivalent).
Ability to communicate effectively during daily operations.
Knowledge of food safety practices (FoodSafe Level 1 is an asset).




Experience working with kitchen production equipment such as mixers, fryers, or knives.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to learn kitchen production systems and standards.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
