Medical Office Assistant – Cardiology Specialist

An exciting prospect is available for an experienced Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join a busy two-practitioner cardiology office in Central Nanaimo.

We are looking for an outgoing, experienced, hardworking and self-motivated MOA who thrives in a demanding environment and takes pride in providing excellent patient service and administrative support.

This position requires someone who can learn on the fly, think independently, understand what needs to be done, and organize and prioritize competing demands with a robust sense of urgency. Open to feed back and can adapt on the fly.

Who We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be:
An experienced MOA with confidence working in a medical office setting
Comfortable and Experience with Electronic Medical Records and Managing waitlists

This Is Not an Entry-Level MOA Position

We are looking for someone who already has solid medical office experience and can step into a busy cardiology setting, independently and quickly understand the workflow, recognize priorities and take ownership of their responsibilities.
