Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a full time, three-month temporary assignment in Châteauguay, QC. This role is ideal for an accounting qualified with full-cycle accounts payable experience who enjoys working with invoices, vendor communications, approvals, and payment processing.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support a busy finance function within the waste management industry, helping ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately and paid on time. Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $25 to $27 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
Review, code, and process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
Follow up on invoice approvals and ensure payments align with vendor terms.
Respond to vendor inquiries by phone and email in a professional manner.
Prepare electronic payments and maintain accurate vendor records.
Set up new vendor accounts and ensure required information is complete.
Review staffing agency timesheets and resolve discrepancies with internal teams.
