In this role, you’ll help customers find automotive parts and products, share your knowledge, and support the team wherever needed. If you’re a positive team player who likes to learn and is comfortable helping beyond the Automotive Desk, we’d love to meet you.
What you’ll do
Help customers identify and find the parts and products they need
Use computerized systems to look up parts and product information
Provide friendly, knowledgeable service in person and over the phone
Support daily store operations and help in other areas as needed
What you bring
An interest in automotive parts, engines and related products
Solid communication and customer service skills
Basic math and typing skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience using a cash register is an asset
Experience in a similar role, a Canadian Tire store or an Automotive Service Centre is an asset, but is not required
Physical requirements
This position involves standing and walking for extended periods, regularly lifting and carrying items of varying weights, and repeated bending, turning, pushing, pulling and reaching, including above shoulder level.
