Bakery Assistant – Keswick, ON

St. George Organic Bakery is a family-owned, local Canadian, home-based bakery in Keswick, Ontario. We are a small, welcoming and supportive team that takes pride in creating high-quality handmade products and working together in a positive, respectful environment.

As our bakery continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Bakery Assistant to join our team.

Main responsibilities include:
Receiving and organizing deliveries
Keeping the production and work areas clean and organized
Weighing and preparing ingredients
Portioning dough and products using scoops
Assisting with packaging and general bakery production
Following recipes, instructions and food-safety procedures
Helping with different tasks as needed during production

We are looking for someone who:
Is reliable, punctual and responsible
Learns quickly and follows instructions well
Is versatile and willing to help wherever needed




Works efficiently and pays attention to detail
Is comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment
Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team
Is able to work independently when required

English proficiency is required, as all production instructions, recipes, labels and workplace communication are in English.

Previous bakery, kitchen or food-production experience is an asset, but not required. We are happy to train the right person.

Location: Keswick, Ontario

Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 2pm
