Busy animal emergency clinic based in Coquitlam, British Columbia is looking to add a Full time Veterinarian to our growing team. . We are an emergency clinic catering to all emergencies and concerns for both cat and dog patients. We service patients from the surrounding areas of Coquitlam, Recent Westminster, Maple Ridge, Port Coquitlam, and Burnaby.

A Reliable team player who takes initiative and has effective communication and interpersonal skills in regards to communicating to the team and to clients. Must have good values and be able to assess each client with care and applied techniques.

Specific Skills:
Diagnose diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals through physical examinations or laboratory tests. Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds or performing surgery. Advising clients regarding treatment plans, overall care and further discharging instructions as needed is a requirement.



Provide a range of veterinary services including trauma response, physical assessments, surgeries and euthanasia (Which include: routine, emergency and post-mortem examinations).

Job requirements:

Education: DVM , Licensure by CVBC, Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Certification

Experience: Experienced ER Veterinarian / Current Grads are encouraged to apply (mentorship will be provided to the right candidate )

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Attention to detail, Works well under pressure, Hand-eye co-ordination, Quick-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $175,000.00-$195,000.00 per year
