Position Summary:

One of our clients in the material handling industry are looking to find solid talent as a Road Service Technician.

As the Road Service Technician, you will travelling to customer sites to conduct maintenance and repairs for Material Handling Equipment, like forklifts, lift trucks and carousels providing consistent service and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:
Examine overall operational integrity and condition of the equipment.
Diagnose, adjust/repair mechanical, hydraulic or electrical parts.
Effectively communicating and executing next steps for repair solutions to the customer
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
Diagnose and order parts according to technical manuals
Document and analyze breakdowns based on standard procedures

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician
Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment




Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices, knowledge of the use of electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements
Experience with industrial equipment that involves lifting / rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment.
Experience aligning above equipment, using dial indicators/calipers, micrometers, hoists or jacks is a plus.
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to be adaptable and work in a fast paced and changing environment
Possess a valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
