Position Summary

Seagull Electric Ltd. is actively seeking qualified Journeyman Electricians as well as Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team. We offer steady work across a range of projects, providing prospects to develop skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

Our current projects include fire alarm systems, security systems, electrical distribution, and electric vehicle (EV) charging installations, with ongoing and upcoming work in both commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and residential environments
Perform work related to fire alarm systems, security systems, power distribution, and EV charging infrastructure
Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and code requirements
Work collaboratively with team members, site supervisors, and project managers
Participate in safety meetings and follow all company and site safety procedures
Maintain a clean,



organized, and safe work area

Apprentice Responsibilities
Assist Journeyman Electricians with installations and service work
Learn and apply trade best practices under supervision
Progress through apprenticeship training and gain hands-on experience

Journeyman Responsibilities
Complete electrical work independently and in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code
Support and mentor apprentices as required
Assist with troubleshooting, quality control, and site coordination

Requirements
Journeyman: Valid Journeyman Electrician certification (Red Seal an asset)
Apprentice: Registered Electrical Apprentice
Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and standards
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Professional, reliable, and safety-focused work ethic
