Duties
Prepare and assemble meals according to dietary guidelines and menu specifications
Serve food to residents or patients with professionalism and courtesy
Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food service equipment
Assist with food storage, inventory management, and proper labeling of ingredients
Support meal delivery schedules by managing time efficiently to meet service deadlines
Respond promptly to residents’ or patients’ needs during meal times, providing friendly assistance





Requirements
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Experience in food service, meal preparation, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or patients
Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
Good time management skills to ensure timely meal service and cleanliness routines
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties effectively
