Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Shawarma Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and handle food preparation in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism. This role involves preparing delicious shawarma dishes, operating POS systems, and ensuring a clean and safe dining experience for all customers.

Responsibilities
Prepare authentic shawarma and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
Manage cashier duties with accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Assist in food presentation, portion control, and maintaining inventory levels




Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly without compromising quality
Uphold sanitation standards by adhering to health regulations and restaurant policies

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Solid customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales prospects
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
