Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a Warehouse and Receiving Associate to join our team. The primary functions of this role are: work alongside the Receiving and Warehouse Supervisors and the Warehouse Crew to offload trucks from the distribution centers, organize stock, maintain warehouse standards, etc. The hours of work are 6am-2:30pm and may occasionally require a later shift depending on truck schedules. Work days include Monday to Saturday.

Job Duties

Performs general physical activities in order to unload, load, sort and move products and materials by hand or using other equipment
Remember and understand specific directions and guidelines
Move frequently, stand, and walk
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally move up to 100 lbs.
Flexible to work varying hours based on changing truck schedule
Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions
Regular and punctual attendance is required




Ability to comprehend inventory control system
Communicate with managers throughout all shifts
Ensure the receiving area is always organized and clean and meets all company policies and procedures
Communicate any problems or changes concerning equipment, products or safety with Manager
Participate in team training and meetings as required by Manager
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications
6+ months of warehouse or material handling experience
Robust attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well independently and with a team
Ability to use subjective reasoning to make decisions
Retail experience is an asset

Job Types: Part time, Full time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
