Workplace: Prescott and Russell Residence
Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with every second weekend worked
Rotation: day/evening
Hourly rate: $57.23

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of staff in all departments on a rotating shift schedule. He/she manages and administers the ongoing operations of all areas of the residence on a rotating shift schedule, emphasizing timely and competent delivery of service to the resident. This position is also responsible for replacing last-minute unfilled shifts.

Must have a university degree in a field related to personnel management,



such as human resources, business administration, industrial relations.
A minimum of three years' experience in managing unionized personnel, preferably in a long-term care facility.
Good knowledge of gerontology and nursing would be an asset.
Ability to communicate easily in French and English (oral and written).
Positive knowledge of the following legislation: Workers' Compensation Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Human Rights Act.
Excellent knowledge of how to interpret and administer a multitude of regulations, laws, contractual agreements, policies, directives and collective agreements.
Excellent knowledge of the Long-Term Care Adjustment Act, 2021 and related regulations.
Valuable computer skills, Windows, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel.
Familiar with human resources, accounting and scheduling software.
