As a Mechanic, your primary focus will be on servicing diesel and hydraulic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. A Journeyperson designation or five years' experience in a similar field is necessary for this role, specifically in underground operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, overseeing maintenance, and training new staff to enhance safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
Diagnose problems and implement solutions effectively




Adhere to Redpath's safety regulations and standards
Support the training of apprentices and new team members
Evaluate repaired equipment for proper functionality

Requirements:
Journeyperson or equivalent experience with mining equipment
Basic literacy and ability to interpret schematics
Knowledge of regulatory standards for underground machinery
Minimum 3 years' experience in mining preferred
Solid organizational and mentoring skills
