About the Role
Open Cove.ca is seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide hands‐on assistance to clients in their daily activities, promoting independence and well‐being.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meals, and mobility.
Support clients in participating in recreational, educational, and social activities.
Monitor client safety, health, and overall well‐being.
Document care and report changes in client condition to supervisors.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and specialists to deliver high-quality support.
Requirements
Certificate or diploma in Health Care, Community Support, or related field.
Experience in direct client care or support work preferred.
Robust empathy, patience, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work wide-ranging shifts including evenings and weekends.
