Job Title: Shipping Supervisor

Location: Brampton, ON
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $65,000 to $67,000 annually

The Shipping Supervisor will lead the day-to-day activities of a busy shipping department, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, documented, and dispatched accurately and on schedule. This role combines hands-on warehouse leadership with team supervision, shipping coordination, inventory support, employee development, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be an experienced warehouse professional who is comfortable leading employees, resolving operational issues, working across departments, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily shipping operations, including order picking, packing, labelling, staging, and dispatch
- Ensure outgoing orders are processed accurately and meet required shipping timelines
- Coordinate workflow and staffing to support daily shipping volumes and operational priorities
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including BOLs, invoices, and tracking information
- Monitor inventory-related concerns and work with the inventory team to resolve discrepancies
- Supervise and provide direction to Warehouse Associates, Shipping Associates, and Team Leads
- Support employee training, scheduling, coaching, and performance development
- Address workplace performance or conduct concerns and assist with corrective action when required
- Monitor daily shipping activity and prepare operational reports
- Investigate and resolve shipping delays, damaged product concerns,



and other service issues
- Work closely with other warehouse and operational personnel to maintain efficient product flow
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve shipping processes
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean, and Kaizen practices
- Support safe warehouse operations by reinforcing company procedures and health and safety requirements
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operational priorities and special projects
- Perform other related supervisory and warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, warehousing, distribution, or a similar environment
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience required
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and shipping software
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Able to prioritize competing demands and maintain efficient workflow in a busy production warehouse environment
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to operational issues
- Customer-focused with a commitment to accuracy, service, and meeting deadlines
