Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Cut agricultural crops Organize tasks to accomplish the work Oversee the activities of clearing the fields Oversee the process of hoeing crops Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Maintain quality control and production records Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations Maintain work records and logs Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Perform general farm duties Support for newcomers and refugees Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees Support for youths Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Support for Indigenous people Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Supports for visible minorities Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work workplace for members of visible minorities Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
