Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced Workday Functional Specialist to join their project immediately and will run until December 3rd 2026, with possibility of an extension.

The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of Workday functional experience, with deep expertise in Workday configuration and business process design, as well as experience leading Workday assessments, optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement programs. S hould be a trusted advisor with strong Workday expertise, equally comfortable providing strategic recommendations and performing hands-on configuration.

The ideal candidate should also be highly autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to quickly assess complex environments and identify practical improvement opportunities.

This is a fully work from home setting.

Key Responsibilities: Configure and maintain Workday functionality, including business processes,



security, HCM, talent, recruiting, compensation, learning, and absence modules.

Assess current Workday configuration, processes, and adoption to identify improvement opportunities.

Provide expert guidance and best-practice recommendations across Workday functional areas.

Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions.

Mentor team members and share Workday expertise to strengthen internal capabilities.

Produce documentation, solution designs, and implementation recommendations.

Workday certifications considered an asset.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
