Location:Chelmsford, MA areaSchedule : Full time or part time, Monday through FridayTarget Pay : $23.00 - $26.00 hourlyPlease note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to, the individual's experience, education, and internal equity.Job SummaryNortheast Arc's Building Blocks and Building Bridges program are grounded in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive. Building Blocks and Building Bridges BT’s provide individualized ABA services to children, ages 15 months to 12 years of age, diagnosed with ASD or Downs Syndrome and their families. Our Behavior Therapists work in a team atmosphere alongside BCBAs, Early Intervention staff, families and caregivers. Our programs facilitate interactions through Natural Environment Training and capitalize on natural opportunities for engagement with our kids using an evidence-based approach.ResponsibilitiesProvide home and community-based support to individuals using evidence-based ABA approachesWork directly with individuals and their families in the natural setting to improve socially significant behaviors across all areas, including communication, daily living skills, social skills, and adaptive behaviorTeach goals and skills outlined in the treatment plans and implement behavior strategies developed by the BCBA (clinical supervisor)Attend and contribute to clinical and non-clinical meetings, trainings,



and individual supervisionsComplete required session notes and data and any additional non-clinical paperworkEnsure the health, safety, and well-being of clientsSupport school consultations and parent training as neededQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, early childhood education, or a related field requiredRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification may substitute for the education requirementMust have robust written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational skills and flexibilityAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamReliable, able to maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a high degree of professionalismValid driver's license and personal vehicle requiredAbility to drive, walk, stand, and climb stairs in an office and a variety of community-based and home-based settingsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 lbsMust successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employmentBenefits & PerksAt Northeast Arc, we offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that supports your well-being and growth.
