Overview Are you a bilingual benefits professional who loves building relationships and helping businesses take care of their people? Join our Small Business team as a Bilingual Account Manager, where you'll manage meaningful client relationships, provide trusted benefits advice, and collaborate with colleagues across Canada.

You'll have the opportunity to use both French and English every day, deepen your benefits expertise, and make a visible impact on the clients and businesses you support.

Location This role is open to candidates located in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island.

As this position supports clients in both official languages, skilled fluency in French and English is a requirement of the role.

How you'll make an impact Build, nurture, and grow relationships with existing and new clients, becoming a trusted partner who understands their business, people, priorities, and perks strategy.

Serve as the primary relationship contact for your clients, providing proactive and responsive service in both French and English and bringing in the right internal expertise when needed.

Develop a clear understanding of each client's goals and strategy, translating their needs into thoughtful solutions and ensuring commitments are successfully delivered.

Partner closely with Producers, Client Services, Analysis, Marketing & Implementation Specialists, and other internal partners to ensure client strategies are aligned and effectively implemented.

Take ownership of client requests and projects, coordinating with the broader team to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met and, whenever possible, exceeded.

Drive client retention and relationship growth by identifying evolving needs and uncovering opportunities to introduce additional services, solutions, and coverage.

Apply your perks expertise to prepare and present renewals, facilitate employee benefit sessions, develop employee communications, negotiate with carriers, interpret benchmarking data, and identify meaningful trends.

Work alongside client contacts and our Marketing & Implementation Specialists to support seamless technical account implementation.

Strong relationships across the organization and, where appropriate, act as the key liaison between your clients and their Producer(s).

Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture, sharing your knowledge and perspective and confidently contributing to both day-to-day execution and broader client strategy.

About you We’re looking for a relationship-driven benefits professional who enjoys solving problems, advising clients, and making complex information easier to understand.

Professional fluency in both French and English, with the confidence to lead client conversations, presentations, meetings, and written communications in both languages.

Proven experience in Account Management, Group Benefits, or a related client-facing role within a brokerage/consulting firm, insurance carrier, third-party benefits administrator, or similar organization. A client-first, consultative approach and the ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with a range of clients and decision-makers.

Experience navigating complex client challenges using analytical thinking, creativity, sound judgment, and thoughtful communication,

including when conversations may be difficult.

Confidence presenting to groups of clients and employees and a willingness to share your expertise with colleagues.

Comfort managing a large portfolio of client groups with varying needs and levels of complexity.

Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills, with the ability to keep multiple client initiatives moving forward.

Hands-on experience with benefit plan renewals or marketing is a strong asset.

Completion of CEBS, GBA, LLQP, or a similar industry designation or license is an asset.

Strong digital skills, including proficiency with Microsoft 365, and the ability to effectively manage communications, priorities, and deadlines.

The ability to identify key decision-makers, bring the right people together, and confidently navigate toward solutions.

Willingness and ability to travel when business and client needs require.
