This is your prospect to support a well-established international conference taking place in Calgary.We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to support a large-scale industry conference and exhibition fromMarch 9–12, 2026at a major downtown Calgary venue.This internationally attended event brings together students, educators, vendors, industry professionals, and regulatory representatives. Event staff will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and a positive attendee experience throughout the week.Training will be provided for all positions.Duties and Responsibilities:The key job functions are:Verifying credentials and managing access pointsScanning badges and supporting conference operationsProviding professional communication with attendeesAssisting speakers and event leadership as neededSupporting event flow and maintaining a positive atmosphereEnforcing event policies respectfully and consistentlyTaking direction from onsite event leadershipQualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderMust be legally authorized to work in CanadaAbility to stand for extended periodsComfortable engaging with attendeesExperience:Previous customer service or event experience preferredExperience in corporate or professional environments considered an assetSkills:Excellent communication skillsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesResourceful and solution-driven when managing attendee concerns or operational challengesAbility to take direction and follow proceduresConfident enforcing event guidelines respectfullyReliable and punctualBase Salary:$18.00–$19.00 per hour (depending on experience and assigned role)Temporary employees are payrolled weekly via direct depositWork Hours:Conference Dates: March 9–12, 2026Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts availableFull conference availability strongly preferredFinal schedules will be confirmed prior to assignmentAdditional Notes:This opportunity does not include relocation.
