Job Title: AI/LLM DevOps Platform Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 06-12 Months

Hourly Pay Rate: 43 CAD/hr

Job Description:

This role involves designing and operating AI agents that automate tasks across the software development lifecycle. The candidate will build and maintain fully automated CICD pipelines for various programming ecosystems, ensure security and compliance in AI solutions from the start, and coach teams towards automation-first practices through practical examples. The role also includes defining platform standards that delivery teams can adopt independently. The engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and operating AI-driven software delivery platforms, DevOps automation, cloud infrastructure, and security-first CICD ecosystems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 35 years of hands-on CICD, cloud, and platform engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Solid proficiency in Python for automation, API integrations, infrastructure tooling, agent services, and production scripting.




- Working experience with at least one additional language or ecosystem such as Java, .NET, Groovy, or Node.js.
- Hands-on AWS experience designing or operating production workloads.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with AWS services such as EKS, ECS, ECR, Lambda, Bedrock, CloudWatch, S3, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, and VPC.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of AI/LLM-based tools and their integration into platforms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Design and operate AI agents and agentic pipelines to automate SDLC activities such as testing, deployment validation, vulnerability remediation, and release management.
- Build and maintain enterprise CICD platforms across Java, Python, Node.js, and .NET environments.
- Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS using ECS, EKS, Lambda, ECR, CloudWatch, S3, Secrets Manager, and related services.
