About Our Family

We’re a warm, easygoing family looking for a kind, experienced part-time nanny to join our little family starting in December!

Our daughter, Madeline, will be turning one in November, and she is a sweet, curious little girl who loves to play, explore, and be around people. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and toddlers and would love to become a familiar and trusted part of her little world.

We’re hoping to find someone 2–3 days per week, ideally around 7:30 a.m. to 3:30/4:00 p.m. We’re flexible on which days for the right person. We are looking for someone to begin approximately 25 hours in December or January when Lauren goes back to work from maternity leave.

? What a typical day might look like

Madeline has a fairly established routine, so we’re looking for someone comfortable following her usual schedule while also keeping her days fun and engaging. Responsibilities would include:

Following her regular feeding, nap, and play routine
Preparing simple lunches/snacks and helping with meals
Lots of age-appropriate play, reading, walks, and activities
Potentially taking her to local Baby & Me/music classes
Getting outside for fresh air and adventures when weather permits
Keeping her play and eating areas tidy
Folding Madeline’s laundry or helping with other light baby-related housekeeping





Of course, giving plenty of cuddles, smiles, and attention! ❤️

We also have a very sweet female cat named Joey ? who loves some attention throughout the day. She’s definitely part of the family and would be happy to have another person around to give her a little love!

? Who we’re looking for

Ideally, you’re someone who is warm, reliable, patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. Experience caring for babies around one year old is especially important to us. We’d love someone who is comfortable taking initiative, getting out of the house with Madeline, and creating a fun, calm setting for her.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who will treat Madeline with the same care, patience, and kindness that we do and who will hopefully become someone she knows and looks forward to seeing each week.

We’re a friendly family and hope to find the right person who feels like a wonderful extension of our family and someone who can grow with us, rather than simply someone coming in to do a job. ?
