Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sr Finance Manager to lead financial reporting activities and support sound business decision-making in Thornhill, Ontario. This role is well suited to a finance specialist who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to improve reporting quality, strengthen controls, and deliver timely insights. The successful candidate will work across systems and stakeholders to ensure accurate results, effective analysis, and dependable financial processes.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Oversee core accounting operations and provide guidance on reporting matters, reconciliations, and period-end close activities.
- Analyze financial results, earnings trends, and key performance indicators to support leadership with meaningful recommendations.
- Manage and enhance reporting processes within ERP and related accounting platforms to improve efficiency and data reliability.
- Review account balances, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve reporting issues, respond to ad hoc financial requests,



and deliver explicit analysis for business planning.
- Support the administration and effective use of systems such as BlackLine, ADP financial tools, and other accounting applications.
- Contribute to finance-related process changes or system updates when required, ensuring reporting continuity and proper documentation.

Requirements:

- CPA designation or equivalent senior-level accounting qualification with progressive experience in financial management or reporting roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, full-cycle accounting, and review procedures within a complex business environment.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems and accounting software, including tools such as BlackLine and ADP-related platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data, assess earnings performance, and prepare ad hoc analysis for leadership teams.
- Solid understanding of reconciliations, internal controls, and best practices for accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to organize large volumes of financial information clearly and accurately.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.
