We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects from concept through to construction. This role will involve providing high-quality structural engineering expertise across transport, civil infrastructure, public realm, and related development projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and technical specialists to develop practical, safe, sustainable, and commercially viable design solutions.

Your responsibilities will include managing structural design packages, preparing calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical reports, and reviewing designs produced by other engineers. You will provide technical leadership on projects, mentor junior team members, coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines, and contribute to project planning, fee proposals, risk management, and quality assurance. You will also support site activities, respond to technical queries, assess construction proposals, and help resolve complex engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle.





The successful candidate will hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have substantial experience delivering infrastructure or similarly complex structural projects. Skilled registration or chartered status is desirable, along with strong knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and construction practices. Experience with reinforced concrete, steel, temporary works, foundations, bridges, retaining structures, or other major infrastructure assets would be advantageous. You should be confident using industry-standard structural analysis and design software, with the ability to interpret and communicate technical information clearly. Strong leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and written and verbal communication skills are essential. A proactive approach, commitment to technical excellence, and genuine interest in developing people and improving project outcomes will be highly valued.
