We are hiring a Monitoring Surveyor Assistant to support our surveying and monitoring team on construction projects across Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in construction surveying. No extensive experience is required. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals who enjoy working outdoors and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

As a Monitoring Surveyor Assistant, you will:

- Assist Monitoring Surveyors with collecting data from building, surface, ground, and utility monitoring points
- Help ensure monitoring data is collected accurately and according to project requirements
- Transport, clean, maintain, and organize survey equipment
- Perform basic equipment inspections and assist with equipment setup and calibration
- Report damaged or missing monitoring points, benchmarks, or equipment
- Follow all health and safety procedures while working on active construction sites
- Work closely with the monitoring team to complete daily assignments efficiently

What We're Looking For

- 0 to 2 years of experience in construction surveying, monitoring,



or a related field is an asset but not required
- Basic knowledge of surveying equipment or construction practices is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to lift and carry survey equipment throughout the workday
- Available to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends when required

Requirements

- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Able to work on active construction sites while following all safety procedures
- Successful candidates may be required to complete and pass a criminal background check before starting employment
