Waterfront Campground – Eastern Ontario

Immediate opening for the 2027 season (May-Oct) and beyond. No campground or RV park experience necessary.

The Opportunity

Spend each spring, summer, and fall with friendly people and surrounded by nature at a peaceful waterfront campground. Help create exceptional experiences for campers while providing guest services, maintenance, groundskeeping, and campground operations. Bring your ideas, initiative, and creativity to a role that offers variety, independence, and the opportunity to make a visible difference. We are seeking an independent service provider (individual, couple, or small business) to reside on-site annually from May 1 to October 15 under a seasonal service contract. This is a contractor opportunity, not an employee position.

Compensation

Seasonal contract valued at approximately $18,000 (monetary pay & accommodations) for 30 hrs/week. PLUS, additional income opportunity by offering repair & maintenance services directly to trailer owners within the campground at whatever rates you choose.

About You

- Able to reside on-site May 1 to Oct 15.
- Enjoy dealing with people, providing excellent customer service, handling situations with diplomacy
- Are well-skilled in maintenance, general repairs, groundskeeping (renovation experience an asset)
- Physically able to do lifting, carrying, raking, shoveling
- Comfortable using a computer and smartphone
- Enjoy outdoor work and a variety of challenges
- Can respond to campground needs during evenings, weekends and holidays when required
- Have a vehicle and basic tools
- Maintain a permanent residence elsewhere

Seasonal Contract Value

The service contract is worth approximately $18,000 in accommodations and monetary payment. It is based on approximately 24 weeks of service, averaging 30 hours per week for a total of 720 hours over the season ($25/hour equivalent).

Option 1: Service Provider Brings Their Own RV

Details:

Option 1 RV site valued at: $2700 site fee + $500 hydro usage = $3200. Includes water & WiFi.

Option 2 RV Accommodations for two people in a contemporary, air-conditioned RV with hydro, water, propane, Wi-Fi, BBQ. Valued at $6050 ($1100/month May-Oct 15).

PLUS, additional income opportunity by offering repair & maintenance services directly to trailer owners within the campground at whatever rates you choose.

The contract amount remains the same whether services are provided by a single individual, or a couple.
