Require for registered or resident physiotherapist for long term care setting

Locum Coverage for 5 weeks, Nov to Dec 2026

Job duty include:

- Providing clinical physiotherapy treatment including assessment, problem identification, establishing treatment goals, appropriate treatments and re-evaluation of residents
- Collaborating as a member of an interdisciplinary team on recommendations for treatment to ensure quality resident care..
- Educates residents and their families in aspects of physiotherapy treatment, as applicable.
- Assigning components of treatment to care aides/PTAs by supervising, instructing, observing and monitoring treatment provided to residents to ensure the resident care plan is carried out and appropriately implemented.
- Attending relevant resident care conferences and communicates pertinent information.
- Maintaining resident records, clinical outcome measures,



and statistical data in accordance with department, facility and professional standards, aware of Point click care software, Microsoft outlook.
- Participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of physiotherapy services.
- Participating in interdisciplinary, departmental and professional development to remain current with evidence-based physiotherapy practice.

Required:

- Graduation from an approved school of Physiotherapy.
- Current full registration with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
- work experience in long term care setting is asset
