Email Production Specialist

Ace Software Consulting Inc. is a Canadian software consulting company based in Kitchener, Ontario. We are seeking an Email Production Specialist to support email campaign delivery for a client.

You will build, edit and test email campaigns, ensuring each email matches the campaign brief, displays correctly across email clients, and is ready for approval and deployment.

Responsibilities

- Build emails by importing HTML templates into an email service provider (ESP) or using its drag-and-drop editor.
- Edit HTML and CSS to resolve formatting, layout and responsiveness issues.
- Review campaign briefs and verify that copy, images, links and other assets are complete and accurate.
- Configure and check subject lines, preview text, personalization tags and tracked links.
- Verify UTM parameters and destination pages.
- Test emails using Email on Acid or a comparable tool and resolve rendering issues.
- Prepare completed emails for proofing, quality checks and client approval.
- Follow campaign schedules and workflow tickets, communicating missing information or blockers promptly.

Required qualifications

- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in email production,



email development or a similar role.
- Practical experience editing HTML emails in a code editor.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email, including responsive layouts and common rendering limitations.
- Experience using an ESP to build or import email campaigns.
- Experience testing emails across desktop and mobile email clients.
- Solid attention to detail when checking content, links, tracking parameters and personalization.
- Clear written communication and the ability to manage multiple campaign deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience with Email on Acid or Litmus.
- Familiarity with AppSheet or similar workflow and ticketing tools.
- Experience troubleshooting rendering issues in Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail.
- Basic knowledge of email deliverability.
