Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems, and process cash and card transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency in every order.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, food prep stations, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service both at the register and in food preparation.




- Follow all food handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and safety guidelines to uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, giving correct change, and managing register totals accurately.
- Solid customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn new technology is essential.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous; familiarity with food industry standards is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.

Pay: $18.35-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
