Franks Tire & Auto is requiring a highly experienced licensed automotive service technician for our growing automotive repair shop. We’re in search of an individual with strong diagnostic skills in drivability, electrical, drive train, and is up to date with current vehicle technology. Must be self-sufficient at inspecting and repairing all vehicle systems, fabrication is a bonus, and repairs on all makes and models.

Job Duties:

- Performing all mechanical repairs
- Problem solving
- Complete Vehicle diagnostics
- Work together with other technicians and take direction from management
- Performing preventative maintenance services (oil changes, transmission flushes, coolant flushes, brake flushes etc.)
- Recommending additional maintenance & services
- Full tire service and repairs
- Maintain an exceptional level of customer satisfaction, show quality of workmanship and technician efficiency




- Keeping shop area clean and equipment maintained

Other duties:

- Read manufacturer's schematics and manuals computer and internet literacy
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Use computer diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift 80 pounds or more

License/Certification:

- Driver’s License (required)
- Journeyman/ Red seal(required)

Schedule:

- 11-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Thursday
- Weekends during peak times
- Competitive wages based on skill set

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
- Journeyman (required)
