Job Description: We are currently seeking a Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) to assist with our various development projects around the Southern Interior of BC, who will uphold our company values, attention to detail, and reputation for quality. This is a field and office based position which will work collaboratively with our technical team on our various multiphase development projects. Your main responsibilities will include timber reconnaissance, cut-block layout, road layout, timber cruising and silviculture surveying.

Qualifications:

- A degree or diploma in forestry and registration with ABCFP as RPF or RFT
- Experience in timber reconnaissance, cut-block layout, road layout, timber cruising, SP plots, stream assessments and/or silviculture surveying
- Minimum 5 years of forestry work experience
- Experience leading harvest and road development projects
- Experience utilizing LiDAR data for planning and locating roads and cutblocks
- A firm understanding of forest policy, guidelines and BC’s regulations
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- Commitment to safety and forest stewardship
