- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Take over and provide continuity of care for an established patient caseload.
- Utilize appropriate physiotherapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education within the scope of practice.
- Treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical conditions, and other appropriate physiotherapy presentations.
- Monitor and reassess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Provide patients with clear instructions regarding therapeutic exercises, self-management strategies, injury prevention, and home programs.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge planning.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals when required.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, privacy, and patient confidentiality.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and patient-centered clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Proficiency in evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative clinical team.
- Strong organizational and caseload-management skills.
- Previous clinical experience is an asset, particularly in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation.
What We Offer
- Established patient caseload ready to be taken over.
- Consistent clinic hours with an existing patient base.
- Competitive compensation package.
- Opportunities to grow your caseload and expand your clinical practice.
- Supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and continuing education.
- Access to modern facilities and equipment.
