Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are partnering with our client to recruit a Senior Project Manager to lead a major industrial project through construction, commissioning, and completion.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in industrial construction and commissioning. The successful candidate will work closely with contractors, engineering teams, site personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

- Provide overall leadership for project planning, construction, commissioning, schedule, budget, safety, and contract management
- Coordinate multiple contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and project stakeholders
- Lead project planning, procurement, construction sequencing, commissioning, and operational readiness
- Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, risks, quality, and change management
- Review contractor schedules, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Lead construction completion, punch-list activities, commissioning, and project handover
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reporting to leadership
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, manage risks, and improve project timelines
- Maintain project risk, cost, change, and contract documentation
- Ensure safety requirements and project standards are consistently followed
- Support project closeout and final documentation

Qualifications

- 15+ years of project management experience on industrial projects




- Extensive experience managing construction and commissioning activities
- Proven experience coordinating multiple contractors and suppliers
- Experience working within an operating industrial facility
- Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, contracts, risk, and change management
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Chemical, or a related discipline is an asset

Work Requirements

- Must be based in or near Saskatoon
- Regular in-person meetings in Saskatoon
- Travel to a remote project site on a fly-in/fly-out basis
- 11-hour workdays while onsite, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Additional hours may be required with approval
